Video Freaker Thingy!
so i have this java app which is kind of fun. i think it only works with avi files made from my canon digital elf camera. i can't quite figure out which files it works with and which it does not. it uses quicktime, so its flakey in about the same way quicktime is flakey. so to check out this java app, you need to have java installed, and you need to have quicktime installed. i am not sure what this means if you are a windows user, but most OS X users will be fine with this app.what it does: it re-mixes your video for you. give it a little while to get wacky.
what for: because its got a cool beat and i can bug out to it.
is this related to your thesis? hell no.
WARNING: it will take over your whole screen. You need to quit the application using the key-stroke command-Q if you are a mac user. Like i said, i doubt this even works on windows.
INSTRUCTIONS: when the app starts up, its looking for a video file to remix. find one on your HD, and point to it.
you have two choices: use the crazy web-start thing from sun (just click on "trust this wacky dude" in the dialog box that comes up -- read it and elect to trust me)

or just download the jar and double click it. (less hassle)
