Light Wheels:
The light wheel is a physical token that indicates the orientation, direction, spot angle, and color of theatrical lights. The token has an orientation, obvious from its form, which indicates the pan of the light. A wheel on top of the token can be spun, and indicates the tilt of the light. Light wheels can be “filled up” like vessels in the light well. The light well consists of a color picking pallet, an intensity slider interface, and a spot angle slider. To fill a light with a certain lighting style, the token is brought to the light well. Color wheels are then placed and oriented around or above the stage. The Stage area of the table shows the current lighting environment.
